CONSULTANCY: Suzan is the main consultant and has a back ground of 24 years experience of working in
the care area, many of these being as a manager of residential services, working in the four sectors: health, local
authority, private and voluntary.
NVQ: Suzan is a highly motivated NVQ Assessor and Internal Verifier and enjoys supporting candidates to achieve their
awards [Levels 2-4].
NATIONAL MINIMUM STANDARDS [NMS]: Suzan has managed homes that have met the national minimum standards
and received excellent inspection reports from the Inspection unit.
REGULATION 26: Suzan uses this knowledge on the NMS to carry out independent Regulation 26 audits.
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS: Being an Accreditation Co-ordinator for three of these years Suzan gained valuable knowledge
and experience on training, including that of the then LDAF, the Common Induction Standards and the requirements to register
staff on the General Social Care Council.
Suzan has a wealth of experience of working with and delivering training to: the people who use and/or receive the services,
their families, support staff, managers and HR staff.
SUPPORT: Suzan has extensive knowledge and understanding of what is needed to run a service successfully and to support
the health and well being of the people who use the services.
